Josh's Soccer

Josh's soccer team was undefeated this year.  He had a great time playing with friends from our neighborhood.

Way to go Green Machines!

Sleep Walking/Showering

Jeremy found Kayden wandering into the bathroom late the other night and assumed Kayden was using the facilities when he heard the shower turn on.  When he went to go investigate, he found this:

When he asked Kayden what he was doing, Kayden replied, "I'm hungry."  Jeremy asked him if he wanted to get out of the shower and Kayden replied, "No."  After standing in the shower (in his PJs) for a few minutes, Kayden began to cry and was ready to get out.  Jeremy got him in some dry PJs and put Kayden back to bed.  The next morning, Kayden had no memory of his late night shower.  There is always some adventure going on over here!

Studio C's Jason Gray

Jaxon and his buddies had the opportunity to meet Jason Gray from Studio C.  They visited with him for about an hour and then took some pictures and got his autograph.  Since Jaxon didn't get to go with us to the Studio C Signing last fall, he was super excited.  It was an awesome experience!  Thanks to his buddy Max (far left--eyes closed) and his family for inviting him along!

Soccer In The Rain

Josh had a soccer game during a down pour last week.  As you can see, he got drenched!  You can also see he had a great time.  We went and got hot chocolate after his game.  That made it even more fun.

Eat Lunch With Your Student Day

When it comes to food, McKay will be up for just about anything--unless of course it is vegetable related.  When it was eat lunch with your student day at the Jr. High, McKay was eager for me to come as he new I would bring food with me.  So I grabbed a pizza and Kayden and I went to the Jr. High and ate lunch with McKay.  It was a very enjoyable lunch date.  I love that McKay isn't too cool to be seen with me and have me eat lunch with him at the school.

Two of my favorite lunch dates.

When I grow up...

I love it when Kayden brings home writing assignments from school accompanied by a picture. This one is a good one:

It reads, "When I grow up, I want to be a ploice.  They throw robbers in jail becaues they ar cool they have picetoles."  The translation is, "When I grow up, I want to be a police{man}.  They throw robbers in jail.  Because they are cool.  They have pistols."

We will have to see what the future brings.  Perhaps he will become a police officer.  One question: Will he be the good cop or bad cop??

Easter 2014

I love Easter. It is a reminder of all things new.  Celebrating Easter with kids makes the holiday all the better.

The boys are ready to go see what the Easter Bunny and in store for them--bedhead and all!

Jaxon looking under the couch.

Finding treasures on the stairs.

Checking all the nooks and crannies.

More of that teenage toughness that is becoming familiar.  Yet he smiles through it all.

Josh finding eggs in the rocks outside.

Kayden with a full basket of Easter eggs.
