Watching McKay work on and receive his Eagle Scout Award was a true proud parent moment! I am sure that I was glowing with pride when McKay received his eagle award. It was a great ceremony.
We invited a live eagle to the court of honor. It was neat to see the bald eagle and learn about it. McKay got to pose for pictures with it!
McKay received his eagle along with four other boys. It was a great night for our ward. Above are all the Eagle recipients for that night.

After the presentation of the award, McKay had to tell some memories of scouting. One he shared was of
last year's scout camp when they got caught in a ton of rain and hail.
McKay received this eagle statue from his Grandma and Grandpa Haacke. I think McKay was proud too.
It was a great night. We couldn't be prouder of McKay!
