Mother/Son Date
McKay and the rest of the Priest Quorum. I had the awesome privilege to spend the evening (On my birthday nonetheless!) with McKay having dinner with him and the rest of the Priest Quorum and their moms. It was a night that they boys planned to honor their mothers. It was nice to have some one on one time with my boy that is about to flee the nest.....and he sure cleans up nice!
Happy Birthday To Me!
All I wanted for my birthday this year was to spend the day with my family. I made everyone take the day of (Jeremy had the day off already) and we went up to Midway and did some Razor Riding and then to lunch after. It was a fun day and we all had a great time!
At the start of the day. All six of us ready to go. I even did some driving as did Jaxon. It was fun and super muddy. We were pretty dirty when we were finished.
We stopped by Cascade Springs and walked around for a bit. It was very beautiful. But we were all anxious to get back to Razor Riding!

My family is the best gift I could ever ask for. Love them.

Blue Angles
We spent the weekend up in Idaho Falls for Samantha's wedding. While we were there enjoying the wedding festivities, The Blue Angles were in town putting a show on of their own. We had several fly overs during Samantha's wedding pictures and then during the luncheon. The next day we decided to go check things out a little closer to the action. Paul had some connections to a hanger at the airport and we went and stood next to the airport runway to watch the airshow. It doesn't get closer than that!
Watching them take off. We were so close and the engines were super loud!
They flew over the top of us several times.
Some of the formations that they did we amazing!
It was a great show!
Landing after the show. It was great fun to see the planes up so close and watch them land.

Tibble Fork
We have been to Tibble Fork before, but they recently redid made some changes up there and we were itching to spend some time in the mountains. We took Aunt Juli and her kids along with Grandma and Grandpa up there and spent the day. It was beautiful and fun. There is a new beach and pond/lake is much larger than before.
Jaxon's friend Jake came along with us (middle). Juli turned entertainer once the boys had enough time on the lake.
Kayden and I went for a ride together on the paddle boards and played in the water. He loved exploring the dock (he is sitting) that was added to the lake. It is a fun spot to jump into the water, but it sure was cold!
Josh and Camron loved spending time on the paddle boards. They cruised up and down that lake.

Snowbird 2017
For as many times as we have been to Snowbird during the summer, it never disappoints. We always have a great time when we go. This year we talked Juli and her family into coming with us straight from their flight from Houston. So glad they came with us. Even though we missed Jeremy and McKay who had to stay home because of work, we had a fantastic time!
The Skycoaster is always a fun ride. We discovered that it was most fun when you rode double That way you can go faster!
We had a great time hiking up on the top of Snowbird. There are always such beautiful views--even though Jaxon didn't seem to think so in this picture.
After hiking, Jaxon decided to take a shortcut the rest of the way down the mountain by sliding down a glacier. He was fun to watch him go.
Since Jaxon did it, Josh decided he would try it out as well. He didn't go quite as fast as Jaxon, but he still liked it. And after Josh slid down, Camron did too. Kayden, Juli, Meaghan and I decided walking down was our best option.
It was a great year at Snowbird with lots of fun memories!

Even Jaxon let me ride with him. We had a great ride!
Loved whooping and hollering all the way down with Josh.
Kayden and Meaghan climbed the rock wall together.
Kayden did some repelling and enjoyed it so much he did it several times. I tried once and fell on my rear so once was enough.
Josh repelling.
Even Jaxon enjoyed the repelling. He laughed when I told him I landed on my rear.
We always love to ride down the Alpine Slide. No one got hurt this year. Josh and Jaxon getting ready to zip on down.
Kayden and Camron ready for a fast ride!

4th of July
Heading to Idaho Falls for the 4th of July never disappoints. Nothing is better than being with your family and celebrating your country's birthday with fireworks and good food. This year, the Snake River was running particularly high so we drove to a near by reservoir and spend a day boating.
McKay (seen above relaxing in the sunshine) and Jeremy got up on one ski for the first time. Not sure where my camera was. But they both went for a while and even braved crossing the wakes.
While driving to the firework show, we were treated with a beautiful sunset. The real 4th of July fireworks. It was a fantastic weekend and a tradition and I hope will hold fast for many years to come.
