Yoga On The Wii Fit

Never mind the mess on the floor, but this is my Joshua doing Yoga on the Wii Fit. He does it all the time. I love it because it makes me laugh. Doesn't he do a good Tree?

Photo Tag

Really I wasn't tagged (my cousin was tagged on her blog). But I thought this would be fun. Here is a little photo challenge:
Open your 6th folder in your photo files and post your 6th picture.
Well, here it is...
This is McKay at his music program this last fall at school. He was dancing with a girl up on the stage for one of the numbers (middle couple, McKay is in the blue shirt). He was such a good dancer, this picture just doesn't do it justice. I know he will appreciate this post.
I tag Lisa, Juli, Lori, and Tiffany if they want to play along!

First Bubble Bath

Kayden took his first bubble bath this week. He was so cute! He was very intrigued by the bubbles and kept studying them (second picture). I could almost read his thoughts: "What are these things that are stuck to my hands? Why won't they go away?" Once he finished studying the bubbles, he decided to try a taste. You can't really see it, but in the last picture he has bubbles all over his chin. What a ham!

What's My Deal??

I feel like I fix the same things over and over again for dinner. So today I made a list of everything that I make for dinner (that my family will eat). My list has 60 different meals on it (not including breakfast for dinner or cheese sandwiches...). There is enough things on this list to eat something different every night for two months (not that I cook every night). So what is the deal??

Ode To The Wiggles

This is the wiggles...Greg (the yellow wiggle in this picture is an impostor), Murray, Jeff and Anthony (my favorite). They are a part of, or was a part of, my kids' life. That is to say I am grateful for The Wiggles. Because of them I am able to take a shower each morning, exercise, fix dinner and do homework with my older boys. So here is my Ode to The Wiggles:

Thank you, Wiggles, for letting me be clean.
Thank you, also, for helping me be lean.
Without you dinner would not get done,
Without your songs homework would not be fun.
I love fruit salad and crunchy munchy honey cakes,
Hot potatoes and cold spaghetti, for goodness sakes.
So keep toot toot chugging chugging the Big Red Car,
Your video tapes and DVDs have traveled far.

**What show do your kids like?
**Are you grateful, like me, they have a favorite so you can use the bathroom alone?

Dudley Dinosaur

I put on black clothes this morning and became a puppeteer. February is Dental Awareness Month and wives of local dentists (I being included) do a puppet show for elementary schools in the area and teach the kids about taking care of their teeth. I did three puppet shows today and do two more next week. I am the puppeteer for Dudley Dinosaur (top photo). I make Dudley walk, talk, sing and dance. I was unsure about this when I signed up, but it was fun and I enjoyed meeting other dental wives from our area. Does this count as a hidden talent?

To Walk, Or Not To Walk...

Kayden (almost 15 months) cannot decide if he wants to walk or not. He loves to walk between two people (especially his mom and dad). He thinks it is a game. He giggles and laughs and then walks all the way across the room. Kayden will also walk when you let him hold at least one of your fingers. Then one day, out of the blue, he took off across the room on his own. I thought that the time had come. I was wrong. He still wants a hand to hold or wants to play the "walking game" with mom and dad. People tell me, "Don't be in such a hurry for him to walk!" But let me tell you--this child is running out of pants to wear because they now all have holes in the knees!
