I was invited by Jaxon's teacher to go on their class walking field trip. (Funds for buses are short this year becuase of budget cuts.) We walked from their school to Albertson's (in the above picture Jaxon is just outside of Alberston's getting ready to go in for the big tour) and had a map activity finding different buildings around downtown. (It was the first time that I had seen American Fork City Hall!) I went back later and figured out that we walked three miles that day. Whew! No wonder we were tired!
This was when we stopped to eat lunch at the park. If they look tired here, you should have seen us at the end of the field trip. (Actually it wasn't that bad and the kids did great!)
...and then we walked some more :).
